In-the-ear (ITE) hearing aids are a type of hearing aid that fit inside the outer ear, and are used to treat mild to severe hearing loss. In the canal (ITC) hearing aids are contained in tiny cases, which fit into the ear canal. It has no extensions, and so it can be used all day long without the same being noticed by anyone.

While some earbuds have features that can help with hearing, they are not the same as hearing aids, which are designed to amplify sounds and help people with hearing loss hear more clearly.

Rechargeable hearing aids have built-in batteries that do not require regular removal, unlike hearing aids with traditional disposable batteries. Instead of removing the batteries themselves, you dock your hearing aids each night on a charging unit, similar to how smartphones recharge.
